The idea for Furry Ski Weekend began in 2006 when a few furs from Nebraska drove out for a day of skiing with a few others from Colorado. Great times were had all around. That summer TekFox and LoneWolf said to each other, "We can make it better."

So they put their heads together, and in 2007 the first official Furry Ski Weekend came together. It didn't go off without a few snags and hitches, but that's to be expected the first year of an even like this. Still, 26 furs had a rockin' weekend up on the slopes of Copper Mountain. So many said they looked forward to doing it again that Tek and Lone knew it was going to become a yearly event.

FSW 2008 came and went, bigger and smoother than the year before. Now the process is down pat and nothing is in the way of making this the biggest, most amazing FSW yet!

This is a one-of-a-kind event in our fandom that only comes once a year. You don't want to miss out! Space is extremely limited, however, so if you're thinking about going you'd better act fast.
